Sad Update: Eartha Kitt passed away this very Christmas from colon cancer. She was an incomparable star of song and screen. Kitt will be remembered for her sultry song stylings, movie and television roles as well as for being plainspoken about causes that she believed in, such as the injustice of the Viet Nam War. May she rest in peace.
